I say pronounce it the way it is spelled. If not then change the spelling individually for each country to how they would pronounce it.

We should deffo follow the rules of the English language. 7 and 8 lettered nouns that end in “ain” are typically pronounced “in”. E.g: Mountain, Fountain, Chaplain, Bargain, Plantain, Captain.
Plan-tin carries more swagger too..
Plan-tain feels like the correct response is “yes aunty” lolz

@Viibe The most comprehensive response I’ve seen on this topic- however… I can stroll make an argument for ‘ain’ I just don’t know what it is yet lol

boils down to African or Jamaican I would say plan TIN but I don’t mind wen my afircan brothers and sisters say plan TAIN
